Speech Therapist
Responsibilities
- SLTs assess, manage and diagnose children with speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorders.
- Perform and document initial assessments and determine appropriate diagnoses.
- Develop individualized intervention plan for client.
- Provide one to one speech therapy for children with special needs.
- Involve in administrative work related to speech and language therapy.
- Communicate regularly with parents, service providers and teachers.
- Updating case notes post-sessions regularly.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree in speech science/ health science (speech pathology) with clinical concentration.
- Registered with MAHPC, MASH or SPEAK is encouraged.
- Have a good command of English, able to converse in Mandarin is an advantage.
