President's Message

Welcome to the Association of International Special Education Teachers’ (AISET) website! As the President of AISET, I extend a warm invitation to you to become a member of our professional association.

AISET’s objectives were initially conceived when we sought an organization dedicated solely to the professional growth and development of special education teachers, both locally and internationally. Surprisingly, we discovered that apart from one organization in the United States, there was no global professional association exclusively for special education teachers. After extensive discussions with colleagues in the field, we realized the need to establish The Association of International Special Education Teachers. The overwhelmingly positive feedback we received fueled our determination to create something impactful.

To all new members, we extend an official welcome. Your energy, dedication, enthusiasm, leadership, integrity, professionalism, and exemplary service contribute to the rewarding roles we play. AISET is your professional home, and we value diverse perspectives to strengthen our organization. Our future holds great promise, and we eagerly welcome any suggestions on how AISET can better serve you. As President, I am honored to lead AISET and committed to fulfilling our association’s mission.

Sincerely yours,

Prof. Dr. Ooi CK
President, AISET
